July Seminar: Laws Update & The Future of Ag Water in Paso Robles

At our July Seminar we will discuss water and pesticide rules and regulations.  Laura Ramage will give the pesticide laws and regulations update on behalf of the SLO County Ag Commissioner’s Office.  Grower’s will also hear from Dana Merrill, President of the Estrella-El Pomar-Creston Water District.  Dana will be discussing the current state of water politics around the Paso Robles Basin and what the future looks like for growers in the area. As you have probably heard by now, Ag Order 4.0 has been put into action and will have a significant impact on growers.  Information on how to comply is slowly rolling out from the Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board.  Brent Burchett with the SLO County Farm Bureau will give us a brief update on the Ag Order and how to seek more information.
